OPTISCREEN HS-HARPS

Fabric-like screens made of round wires

Product Description:
OPTISCREEN HS-HARPS are screens made of individual longitudinal wires corrugated continuously in the sieve plane with square sieve openings in a diagonal hole pattern.

The individual longitudinal wires lying flat next to each other are held in place by PUR strips fused in at specific intervals in such a way that the longitudinal wires have a flexible freedom of movement between these cross-connections.

Especially in the case of transversely tensioned screens, OPTISCREEN HS harps have the advantage that the longitudinal wires lie exactly in the plane of the sieve. This makes it possible to increase the spacing of the PUR cross-connections and to increase wire cleaning.

For the PUR cross-connections, the distances should be designed so that there is one cross-connection on each of the cross supports of the screening machine frame.

Advantages:

  • OPTISCREEN HS-HARPS have square screen openings. The springy freedom of movement of the individual longitudinal wires allows natural vibrations that make the screen "elastic" so that even difficult-to-screen material can be processed. Whether damp, wet, heavily smearing, clayey or dry material.

  • OPTISCREEN HS HARPS
    - clean themselves
    - counteract clogging
    - ensure precise grain separation

That is why OPTISCREEN HS-HARPS are versatile, especially whenever there is a risk of clogging for screens with tight mesh openings.

  • OPTISCREEN HS-HARPS are suitable for all screening machines, namelyr:
    a) with cross wire layers and tensioning folds for longitudinal tensioning and cross tensioning machines
    b) with PUR strips as "screen plates" for screening machines with flat screen decks.

OPTISCREEN HSP-HARPS

Fabric-like screens made of round wires

Product description:
OPTISCREEN HSP harps consist of alternately side-by-side lying smooth and horizontally corrugated wires in the screening plane, which are held by fused-in PUR cross-connections so that only the corrugated longitudinal wires can have a springy freedom of movement.

The spacing of the PUR cross-connections should be designed so that there is one cross-connection on each of the cross supports of the screening machine frame.

For better cleaning in case of moist sticky material, made of stainless steel wire (Cr/Ni) of material No. 1.4301, with strengths approximating DIN 17223/1.

Standard specifications:
The sieve openings are graded according to the standard series corresponding to DIN ISO 4783-3 and the wire thicknesses are designed according to DIN 4186.

Advantages:

  • Because screening materials that have particularly high moisture levels have always presented a difficult classification problem, and conventional screens quickly clog mesh openings, OPTISCREEN HSP harps bring the solution when square or rectangular sieve openings are required for accurate grain separation, and normal screens are insufficient in this regard in extreme cases.

  • OPTISCREEN HSP harps largely prevent clogging or encrustation of the sieve openings due to the combination of smooth wires and horizontally corrugated wires.

  • In OPTISCREEN HSP harps, the thicker smooth wires have a low vibration amplitude; they serve as carriers of the sieving material. The corrugated wires, due to the corrugations, have a greater elongation with a springy effect. Due to the different vibration amplitudes of the wires, the sieve openings of the OPTISCREEN HSP harps remain free.

  • OPTISCREEN HSP harps are suitable for all screening machines, namely:
    a)  with cross wire layers and tensioning folds for longitudinal tensioning and cross tensioning machines.
    b) due to the PUR cross-connections as "screen plates" for screening machines with flat screen decks.

OPTISCREEN PIANO-HARPS

Screens with slot-shaped openings and smooth sieve surface

Product Description:
OPTISCREEN piano harps are screens made of smooth, gap-forming longitudinal wires with fused PUR joints. The clear width between the longitudinal wires is the gap width.

Optiscreen Piano harps have fixed crosswire layer spacings. Crosshead distances in the machine space the PUR cross-connections. Further subdivisions are possible between the crosshead spacings. Closer spacings between the PUR cross-connections improve the separation accuracy. Longer spacings increase the screening performance. Additional cross-connections in the impact area can be made according to customer requirements.

Advantages:

  • OPTISCREEN PIANO-HARPS cloths are suitable for all screening machines, screening- and washing drums.

  • They offer excellent versatility, predominantly where wet and clayey material - a highly smudgy material - presents a clogging hazard to any square mesh screen.

  • They allow faster screening due to reduced contact resistance.

  • The output rate increases with cubic material or whenever there is no need to consider uneven, slow-crushed, and flat grains.
